Partiamo da due verità (quasi) inconfutabili del marketing.
La prima è che le persone vogliono sentirsi vicine ai brand, vogliono vedere cosa c’è dietro al prodotto e al servizio che hanno acquistato, vogliono identificarsi con le loro storie e i loro valori.
La seconda, più tecnica, è che ormai i video sono i veri protagonisti delle strategie di marketing (ve ne abbiamo già parlato nel nostro articolo sul Visual Storytelling).
Qual è il risultato di questi due aspetti combinati insieme? Il successo crescente dei video in diretta nelle strategie social.
I video in diretta sono lo strumento di real time marketing più forte per creare intimità tra gli spettatori e il brand.
La vera differenza rispetto ai video classici è che con quelli in diretta il pubblico può interagire. Gli utenti possono dare risposte e feedback immediati, e il loro coinvolgimento non va lasciato al caso, ma sfruttato come modo per testare le loro reazioni alle vostre proposte e idee.
Come usare i video in diretta?
I video in diretta devono divertire, ingaggiare, usare un linguaggio semplice e quotidiano, e i loro usi possono essere molteplici. Volete qualche esempio?
- Dare delle breaking news;
- coprire eventi, conferenze, concerti, corsi di formazione, e dare la possibilità di seguirli anche da casa;
- svelare il backstage dell’evento stesso o di altri momenti di vita quotidiana del brand;
- organizzare il lancio di nuovi prodotti o servizi;
- offrire un servizio di customer care, che può diventare un appuntamento fisso in cui gli utenti fanno delle domande e si tolgono dei dubbi;
- sfruttarli per l’influencer marketing: ormai le persone si sono abituate all’esistenza degli influencer, e sanno che i brand attivano delle collaborazioni con loro, quindi, un buon esempio di trasparenza nei confronti dei propri follower è proprio quello di presentare i propri collaboratori in diretta.
Come fare le dirette sui diversi social network?
Ogni social network è diverso, sono diverse le persone che li usano e sono diversi i contenuti che cercano al loro interno. Bisogna tenere conto di queste differenze anche quando si studia una strategia di video in live streaming. Ad esempio:
- su Facebook, dove le persone vanno a cercare i contenuti più disparati e soprattutto per distrarsi, è importante essere divertenti e permettere agli utenti di svagarsi. Se divertite i vostri utenti, pian piano potrete entrare nel loro quotidiano, e inizieranno ad avere voglia di dedicarvi i loro momenti di pausa;
- su Youtube via libera ai contenuti approfonditi e specialistici. Qui è dove le persone cercano i tutorial e gli approfondimenti anche su materie molto tecniche per imparare qualcosa, perciò potete sbizzarrirvi con dirette anche molto lunghe;
- su Instagram siete aiutati dal fatto che i vostri video spariranno dopo 24 ore e potete permettervi di essere ancora più spontanei e naturali e di non dedicare troppa attenzione agli aspetti tecnici come le luci o l’audio.
Come preparare una live streaming?
Ci sono alcune buone pratiche che possiamo suggerirvi, sia da marketer che da esperti in produzione di contenuti. Anche se produrrete contenuti in diretta, non trascurate gli aspetti tecnici.
Sotto l’aspetto del marketing, vi suggeriamo di preparare i vostri utenti alla diretta: annunciatela qualche giorno prima e descrivete bene il contenuto del vostro video.
Invitate gli utenti a mandare le loro domande in anticipo, così voi potete prepararvi e loro saranno stimolati a seguirvi per vedere cosa risponderete.
Date un tema alle vostre dirette e create un appuntamento fisso che fidelizzerà i vostri utenti.
Durante la diretta non dimenticatevi di interagire con chi vi segue: salutate tutti e leggete sempre i commenti che vi arrivano.
E per quanto riguarda gli aspetti tecnici?
Beh, una cosa che è sempre utile ribadire è: testate prima la vostra connessione. Non c’è nulla di peggio per chi vi segue di un video che “salta” e si interrompe.
Non dimenticatevi di chiudere porte e finestre e silenziare le notifiche di smartphone e computer per non essere interrotti da rumori esterni.
Fate prima una prova della resa del video con luci naturali e artificiali, e vedete quali rendono meglio in video.
Un’altra cosa importante è quella di una scaletta argomenti che volete trattare e tenetela sempre sott’occhio quando registrate: naturali sì, impreparati no.
Quali sono gli accessori utili per trasmettere video in diretta?
Un cavalletto o un treppiedi per lo smartphone o la telecamera, lenti per lo smartphone, luci portatili o un softbox, microfoni sono gli accessori di base per trasmettere in diretta.
Se trasmettete con lo smartphone, può essere utile acquistare un pulsante Bluetooth per controllare lo smartphone e bloccare la diretta, oppure una videocamera o una fotocamera video da collegare al computer.
